In this course, my goal is NOT simply to give you the marriage tools that we need to help us “fix” our marriages. Instead, I want to try to help each one of us to understand WHY our marriages may be struggling. You see, we cannot solve a problem, until we first understand the root or cause of the problem.
A marriage counselor once told me that there is no such thing as a “Marriage Problem”. Marriages, by their nature, are holy and sanctified by God.
So, there is no such thing as a marriage problem. There are only problems that we DO bring into our marriages that cause problems, and things that we DO NOT bring into our marriages, that cause problems.
Unless we are fully whole, and fully healed, and perfect, there are things that we DO bring into our marriages that can cause us trouble, and things that we DO NOT bring to our marriage that can also cause us trouble.
